Well everyone else is doing it... Update 5/11
No pics yet. But here is what i have been working on for the past few days.
Head is installed and torqued down to spec. Waited 2 hours between the tq sequence to make sure its right. The motor is timed on the spot. Rotated the motor about 10 times to make sure its dead on. Valve adjustment is complete and the turbo manifold is on. I'm waiting on a few gaskets that i forgot that will be here tomorrow. Should have it all back together tomorrow evening!

I got the drive train installed. cooling system is done except for a few plugs that i need for the top of the new thermostat housing. I started hooking up the MS harness. I only need to connect the wideband, boost solenoid, and a few other little things to have the MS up and running. I'm hoping to have it finished by next sat! Here is a quick pick.
I wrote 6qt on the valve cover to remind me of how much oil i have already put in the engine so i can top it off after i get it started

Update time!
I ran into a few dumb issue's and getting her wrapped up took me a lot longer than it should have. However, i finally got to drive her home tonight! I still need to tune MS and will hopefully have her up and running with a decent street tune by this weekend! I still need to clean up some of the wiring in the engine bay and i need to swap in my 42lb injectors. I'm hoping to have that done tomorrow after work.

My friend and I spent about 5 hours tuning the car last night. I installed what I thought were 42lb injectors. They are green top Injectors that I got from a local ford mustang guy. After I installed them I had to add about 20% more fuel over the 30lb injectors to get it to idle. So I reinstalled the 30's and tuned for 9psi.
I kept running into connection issues with TS and MS. I swapped hdmi adapters, USB cables, and computers. I still couldn't get it to connect for longer than 10 min which made tuning a huge pita. But we got a decent street tune done and it runs great. Only issue is I keep getting a random very rich idle. Sometimes the car even dies when coming to a stop. I'm going to get my connection issue fixed so I can datalog.
Peter florance has been a huge help with phone support. I'm a total n00b to MS and he has made the transition very easy.
Running on MS with the upgraded k27 is pretty impressive at 9psi. It feels like my old setup did at 15psi with only water injection. The drivability is great over the motronic. I just need to figure out the random idle issue.

That is good news... Glad it is working out.
I have be struggling with the inter cooler question as I happen to have the same water to air setup and a front mount setup waiting to be installed- I just haven't really decided on which one to go with.
They will both be PIA I'm sure- but for overall effeciency- I am guessing the FM would be preferred?
I have the same intercooler you have and the FM is 7x21x2.5 with all 2.5 piping...
Any Thoughts? Don't mean to thread jack- just looking for info on your decision.

I have been really busy lately with work, getting ready to move to a new apartment, and getting ready for the Vintage!
I have a good street tune set at 13psi. I had a few issues with my MS box. Peter Florance was able to sort everything out and the car runs like a champ now! The upgraded K27 is also REALLY nice compared to the stock K27. 8psi on this setup felt like 15psi on my old setup. 13psi is a huge difference over what i was at before on 15psi. I'm hoping to get it to the dyno sometime soon so i can play with timing a bit and see where i stand compared to before. I'm hoping to see at 330whp and 380rwtq.
I am seeing boost creep to 15psi at times. I havent had time to mess with it to see why its creeping. But the tune is safe even if it creeps to 15psi.
I'm not using meth right now either. I think i have decided to not use it. I may wind up selling my setup if anyone is interested.
