Glad to hear it!

It all worked great! Thanks again. The car drives about 100% better. Anyone who insists Motronic is OK is a fool, just like I was before I installed the MS

Yes it is. I put the 8 lb spring in and took the Begi out. I'm going to use an EBC soon.

I'm still on the fence about ebc vs. mbc & which is better. I've done some reading & asked questions but things are still gray for me.

Please report back with your thoughts when done.

Ummm, yeah....this car is kinda fast. Drives like a grocery getter....and then you hit the go-pedal. Holee shit.

A turbo car without programmable management never lives up to its full potential. Have fun tuning!

Well... with a mbc you can not do this:
(It's not the smoothest only because i'm lazy)
19-27psi.

It's only a $50 mod anyone can solder in. :D

Shit, you don't even need boost control to do that:

Thats 12 -> 20 psi on just a TiAL 38mm.

I know this is a little old, but since you are in Richmond, as am I...I'm thinking of going MS as well for my twin turbo'd 535i. I've never touched the stuff....what can I expect? What the hell do I even need?

Would you be willing to let me look over your setup? I have a shop with a dyno...wana see what the car makes? I'd love to have another car to compare mine to whenever it finally gets running.

I'll be at Summit Point for Hyperfest, but I will certainly find you next week and stop in and introduce myself. And I was serious, if you want to throw the car on the dyno I'll do it for free if I can pick your brain on things I need for my own cars. :)

Awesome! I just got the EBC installed and working today, i've been tuning the higher boost levels on my way to / from work. I'm going to wreck if I keep doing it on the street, it's definitely Dyno time!
