I didn't try to recalibrate the TPS or MAP. The TPS gauge in TS seem's to be reading correctly and I did notice that my idle was at 32kpa instead of 34kpa like it was before. It acts like it doesn't see TPS immediately when I give it throttle so it doesn't spray any fuel. I can watch the dot move on the VE table like it should. I'll recalibrate them tomorrow morning.
I loaded my last known good tune. But if the TPS calibration is off would it affect that tune too? I loaded my last known good tune onto another computer tonight and adjusted the VE and Ignition tables by hand to what they were on the dyno last night. I'm going to load the firmware again and flash this tune to it and calibrate the sensor's tomorrow. If this doesn't fix it i'm not sure what else to try.

Not 100% yet. I need to install a motor in my soon to be DD E46. Once I have that up and running I may wind up going with a different setup.thespeedfactory wrote:Great numbers.

x2 I have an issue last year & a reflash cleared things up. It's been so long though that I don't recall if I went up 1 version or down 1 version. After you do this, make sure you go thru & double check your settings and engine constants. Somehow my req fuel had switched.clongo wrote:Are you referring to the processor or just the firmware? Start looking at the computer now. I would go through and check every little thing you've never had to mess with. If you reflashed to a new firmware version there may be a new feature on the default setting. My firmware is different, but if I were you I'd check to see if its still set to speed density only or if secondary alpha-N is turned on. Check to see if its on single or dual tables. If EAE is enabled, disable it and run standard AE. If lag compensation is enabled, disable it.
The settings on the bottom of your lag factor screenshot are new to me, so I don't know where those should be at. Might be worth screwing around with those to see what happens. Looking at the screenshot of your datalog, MAP does not rise as quickly as it should. It shouldn't take so long for MAP to peak after reaching WOT. The rise should be simultaneous. MAP definitely should not peak after the throttle has begun to close. If MS isn't sampling MAP quickly enough, that could do it.

I think it's fixed.
I tuned it to multiply map initially. I set it to not multiply and it went crazy rich at idle. Low 10's and I couldnt take enough fuel out to get it to lean out. I pulled the map sensor signal line and found a nice wall of oil.....
removed the line, cleaned it with brake clean and compressed air. Pulled out the DME and took it apart, cleaned the map sensor with contact cleaner and some compressed air. reinstalled everything and it ran perfect! I haven't driven it yet, but im pretty sure the issue is resolved.
Thanks for the help guys. The timing that this issue decided to show it's head couldn't have been better. Right as the laptop dies it decides to show up and take me for a loop. Sometime's I need to not overthink things and just get back to the basics, lol.
On a side note. I'm pulling the car in the shop this afternoon to clean the charge pipe's and change my crankcase setup so this issue doesnt happen again.

Yes, its running off of the stock nipples on the bottom of the intake. I have thought about pulling the intake and tapping a large port to run a vacuum distribution block to help clean up the vacuum lines. Here is CLongo's graph over my 1 bar graph from the red car. I think boost was about the same, same engine, same intercooler and same compressor wheel.
