Blown tranny mounts

Post by Nebraska_e28 »

I'll be ordering replacement oem auto tranny mounts soon. Mine were new about 3-4yrs ago. How long have yours lasted & what kind are you running?

Never had a problem with trans mounts. No difference in life from the stock application with stock rubber mounts.

Hmm, you might want to look at the engine mounts while your on this subject. There really should not be any additional wear on the tranny mounts.

That sounds logical.
If the motor doesn't move then why would the trans move?
and the trans mounts make most the noise, so hard engine
mounts and rubber trans sound nice.

Just thinking out loud.
