USB Serial Adapter driver for OSx.
I'm using a MacBook to load firmware on my DIYPnP. I have the serial adapter from DIY Autotune but no driver software. I don't even know if it's compatible or not. Can someone help me out?

I'm needing info on downloading and installing the correct driver software on my MacBook. I've tried a few different sources like Prolific but none of them seem to work. I'm not getting the dongle to show up on my network page. I'm not very computer savvy to begin with, and switching to an Apple product is really fun!

I contacted DIY Autotune, the adapter they sell doesn't support Mountain Lion. I'll have to find a different adapter to use with my macbook. I was able to load firmware with my old laptop and get the DIYPNP up and running. This controller will be nice as everything will operate as stock down to the control of the main, fuel pump and o2 relays. This is very important for me, as this car will be a DD during the spring, summer, fall- with a car seat for the little one in the back seat!

That one appears to use the FTDI chipset, which is supposed to have pretty good mac support. I use their FT232 chip in bunches of my devices, great product and it has a huge buffer (this is good for communicating at high speeds with loose clocks). At 10 bucks the price is right.
I may be able to try one of my FTDI powered adapters on MS with my wife's mac tonight, I'll post back if I can.
EDIT: After reading the comments it looks like that one does NOT use FTDI chips, so don't mind me
THIS ONE appears to be real, 18 bucks still probably a good deal if it just works.
