G&T Manifold Group Buy Participants

Post by tcturbo91 »

As I am sure with others, my G&T manifold just arrived and I am very excited to get the ball rolling on the turbo project. I built my motor with boost in mind a few months back, so now I just need to piece together the rest of my parts.

I was wondering what type of setup others that purchased the manifold are thinking of going with, what your goals are, etc. Just curious to see what others are thinking!

I'd like to see 400-450rwhp. Im running it on an m30b28. I haven't decided on a turbo yet, still researching.

i'll likely be bolting up either the H1E i have, or the GM-3 (i think that's the one i have) thats sitting next to it. I think both are t3 housings though so i'll be using a reducer.

I'll be shooting for around 400whp..... planning on using either a gt35r or 6262

It'll be quite a bit before it's completed (trying to slow purchase for my wife's sake haha)

Probably a good ole HX-40, megasquirt setup. Same goals, 4-450 horse. Reliability. Over-cooling will be the name of the game. I want to be able to flog this on a track day with cool EGTs, IATs, and oil temps. I'll take less power with greater peace of mind. Maybe when I think this motor is going I'll test the limits and find out what a stock B34 can do on boost alone.
