hey guys i recently turbocharged my e28.. its a basic set up just thought you all might wanna check it out.

built on a tight budget :)

this was the first set up and got it running but then...

i did some rearranging and now running this, which seems to be working well.

right now its getting about 8psi with no intercooler.







Also, I was wondering if anyone has used a barrel intercooler?

Looks nice and clean. The barrel intercooler is useless.

Very clean stealthy install. I don't see that cooler doing a whole lot. It's probably better than no IC, but it's not going to be anywhere as effective as a properly sized cooler.

As a side note, at work we have been using the Silicone Intakes type 19 cooler with great success. It works well as a lab cooler and we are able to drop 120+°C compressor out temps to 30-35°C with process water (~25°C). They cool well, are pretty robust and cheap.
