I can confirm that text scaling works properly in Chrome and FireFox in Windows 7 as well. I never noticed that the emoji get bigger/smaller as well. That's kinda awesome.

What OS and browser are you using and how are you trying to change the font size?

Thanks guys for jumping in to help. I am using Firefox 30.0 and Windows 8.1. I can toggle the font size using the "^A^" feature on the top right of the web page but that probably changes the font from 3 or 4 point to 6 point at best. While typing in this white background text box the font is bigger (6 point), but once it is displayed on the forum it shrinks to 4 point.

Here is a couple screen shots. You can see that the displayed font is smaller then the windows tab fonts, which are small already. By the way I don't have a vision problem:)... up close that is.

And another shot...

Honestly, that looks normal to me. What size and resolution is your monitor?

Hold down CTRL and move your scroll forward and back. Down will scale the website smaller, up will scale it larger. This is a feature built into at least FireFox and Chrome, not sure about IE.

Try going to tools/options/content and choose a minimum font size. I have a minimum font size of 12 and the site displays nicely.

Wonderful!!!! My new favorite feature was right under my nose. Firefox allows me to scale just the text using the method you pointed out above and it even seems to save the settings. Thanks Jeremy, now I can finish my S38 build :).

I guess I really do dislike change more than I thought. I find myself visiting the site much less ever since the update. :(

Is it a mobile device thing that the 'back button' doesn't work?
I'll go to a section, say 'parts for sale'.
Click on a topic, read it.
When I click 'back' to go to the section menu again, it gives me a 'page does not exit' script.
This is on an iphone4, if that matters.

Apologies if this has been asked before. I did a bunch of different searches, and decided this would be the best place to post this note.

I noticed a bit of a double-post of mine earlier, and then realized unless I'm looking but not seeing, there is no way to delete my notes. I can't believe I'm the only one to notice this, and was surprised this wasn't already discussed. So I must be missing something. Please advise?

Edit the post and check the box to delete the message. I see an "x" next to the edit button from within the thread view but that doesn't appear for non-moderators, IIRC.
