IAT sensor placement and charge piping questions.

Post by jrcanes55 »

Hey guys! Just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on placing your IAT sensor. I'm on MS2 and am using the GM open element sensor from DIY. No ICV.

Also where did you place your BOV? Here is a picture of my charge piping. Let me know what you guys think.

Also if anyone has VE and Timing maps for a US B34 I could look over pleas let me know.

Thank you.

I would place the iat in the charge piping up near the front. I installed mine in the intake manifold directly behind the throttle body, however, I have had hot start issues. I think the intake manifold gets heat soaked.
Good looking project!
