I need some advice on the exhaust gaskets (or lack thereof). I'm currently building my turbo e30 using m106 turbo components on an otherwise stock m30b35. RealOEM gives 2 pictures of exhaust manifolds for the 745i. One is obviousely the correct m106 turbo manifold and lists no exhaust gaskets, aside from the rings that are set in to the manifold, #15 p/n 11621706800
The other picture listed is clearly not the correct manifold (looks like a standard m30b34/b35), but it does list a gasket for #3, p/n 11621723851
Should I use an actual exhaust gasket? I could reuse the standard m30 gaskets and heat shields that I already have, but will that cause a problem?

You can use m30 gaskets.

Re: m106 manifold gasket question
If your copper rings aren't damaged, clean them with a wire brush and use em, Don't try to remove them, just shine them with a brush and go. Mine still work fine after many times on and off.
Re: m106 manifold gasket question
The rings are in great shape (no damage that I can see) but they did get ceramic coated along with the rest of the manifold. I suppose I could try to scrape it off, but I'm inclined to try leaving it on and see if any leaks develope.
