Well, it's about all I could see in the photo since it looks like it has I Can't Believe it's Not Butter over the lens.

Are you happy with the results?

Ultimately all the matters is what Chris and I think but I think that goes without saying.

I have not seen it in person. In the text that came with that pic Ken said "alot more vivid than ricks". Rick's being my buddy's zinno E30 he did earlier this year with two-stage. I'll probably see it Tuesday after he's done buffing it.

That quick turnaround reminds me of taking my crashed cars to the pay and spray in Grand Theft Auto. Whole rebuild in less than 4 hours!!!

This forum cracks me up. The car in question is probably in the 99th percentile in terms of stewardship and documentation thereof, yet one sub-optimal turn later, the piling on commences.

The perils of oversharing on this forum.

I will continue to share at the same level I have been until I do something that gets me sent to ban island. I'm quite capable of filtering the wheat from the chaff. I actually find the differing opinions, harsh questions, and even criticisms useful.

Thanks for the support.

I'm shocked at the patience to wait and see the car. I would have been over there to see it the day it was sprayed.

I do have real job. It happens to be pretty intense right now, which is fairly bumming me out.

After getting it home this evening (who knew driving without a windshield would be so damn hot!?!) I got the rear shelf and seats in. Did a few other little things that don't involve touching painted surfaces. My son and I will put the hood on tonight.

Ken will come by tomorrow and do some more buffing. He didn't get below the trim line yet...knowing it will be far easier to do when on my lift. And the hood is not fully buffed out yet either.

The glass, valance, bumpers and trim will go on next week, letting the paint set a bit more.

I have an appointment with a stripe guy to come by next week and put the pinstripes on. I also have a glass appointment in case I struggle getting the windshield in like I did with Maytag...just in case.

All trim will be 'real' shadowline next week.

Looks great. Looking forward to seeing it next weekend. Fingers crossed that assembly goes smoothly.

Good call on removing the lock cylinders.

Looks great, cancel the pinstripes please.

You should have Ken repaint your lift to match, it's looking a little dingy.

+1.

Looks awesome. Long-term you'll sleep better knowing it all matches and will age at the same rate, etc.

Looks great! Take it slowly, the last thing you want to do is mar that pretty paint.
