Issue turning over

Post by Nick626 »

I wait until the glow plug light is good, I have to sit there and pedal it and keep cranking for 30seconds to a minute before it actually starts.. It used to start no problem now I am having this issue. Its colder here around 25-35 degrees F , I had it running fine around 40-50 degrees outside.. Is it possibly a fuel issue?

For it being that cold and you only doing one cycle of the glow plugs that seems pretty normal. I would try changing the fuel filter to just eliminate that as being an issue if you haven't done it recently. Id also trying cycling the plugs multiple times (two or three). The last thing id suggest is plugging it in if its that cold. Only issue is if your car didn't come with a cord to plug it in you either have to make your own or try to find one used.
