1985 M535i F/S

Post by gray635 »

This would make a nice Christmas present for someone on the board:

Must inquire if you want to know the price of admission. Great color combo and the right tranny.

Wow - That's a beauty! Nicest example I've seen available for sale in a loooong time. Beautiful color combo - I don't remember seeing a Taurusrot interior/Diamondschwartz M535i before.

About one month prior to mine in the production line.

Wouldn't it be great to have this stateside? :)

^^^^^The guys at Oldenzaal Classics can make that happen! I've got an e30 320is (the "Italian M3) en route from The Netherlands. Should be in the port in Brunswick, GA by now and in my driveway before Christmas. :D Never imported a car from Europe before. Hope it turns out OK.

It's my car's slightly older, Spanish brother.
It is a nice combination of options and appears to be in good condition.

I'm a little confused by the E24 rear exhaust. Doesn't look right, doesn't fit right, and even appears to be rubbing on the spare tire well.

Ooooo - Nice! One of my favorite "sleeper" cars. Keep us updated on your ownership/driving experience thoughts once you get some seat time. Although importing a car from Europe seems daunting, the vast majority of stories I hear are positive in the end.

Also has what appears to be a factory trailer hitch, with a rear M Tech apron that has a larger cutout for the hitch + exhaust tips. I'm guessing the E24 muffler section was a "close as we could find" replacement solution at some point. Not sure if the hitch required any different exhaust sections when stock. I'd never tow with this car, but its kinda cool to see it equipped this way
