Hi all I'm new and looking at buying my first e28 . Trouble is there's not many for sale I have found a 518i , 2 520i.s and 2 525e s which would be the best option. I will be looking in to modifications for more power . I do have a lesus gs 300 could sale or donate the engine etc. Thanks

You won't really make any additional power via engine modifications unless you're going the turbo route. In the US, it took about ~7 months to find a non-rusted very clean 535 5-Speed, and I had to pay a bit of a premium. Take your time, it'll come up eventually.
