Question regarding avatar pictures

Post by wkohler »

Why is it that some users have large photos? I could understand being grandfathered in if a change was made, but I've seen some have been changed to a large photo.

Note, they all appear the same size in the pane on the side of each post, but the larger pictures appear in the user's profile.

This post is just a curiosity thing. I'm not saying we all need big pictures. Thanks!

All of the avatar photos that are large were grandfathered in. The software won't allow updating to large ones.

Are you thinking of the signature pictures?

No. I was thinking the avatar. The examples are Kyle in NO (he went back to the old one with the chili dog) and Brian in TN (an album cover). Those are the two I know had been recently changed. Anywho, thanks.

They are linking to externally hosted pictures which do not get tested for the 100x100 pixel limitation.
