I hate this thread! I want this thread to start a new page... Every few months when this pops back up, I always take a look and my earlier post on this page is always in my face showing me what my interior used to be.. Now it is such crap compared to that, it just makes me feel sour!

Wow, I really like how the Natur blends so well with the pearlbeige interior.. That Natur shift boot really blends the colors together.. It actually looks almost like a factory color combination instead of just a seat swap..

Well, first off, that's Llama. Secondly - that's how it looks from the factory. There's no Llama carpet, dash or door panels. There is a Llama shift boot - as you see in la picturas. The M5 has the same carpet your car has as well - with Natur seats.

Oh  ... Well I was really just going by the door panels... I figured that in a llama car, they wouldn't be the same as a pearlbeige..

Either way it goes, it looks easy enough to acheive this looks with a different color seats.. llama or Natur would look good in my car..

Edit: If you are right, than why is the llama interior/door panels in this car all matching? I think that the seats in the car I commented on were not in that car from the factory.. I think we need the owner of those seats to comment to know for sure..

Huh? Llama is a complete interior color just like any other with door panels, center console, carpet, etc. Based on the pristine Llama vehicles I've seen, the carpet is also a shade different than Natur. I agree that Natur carpet is pretty close in color to Llama, though, and with sun/fading they may look similar. But in nice condition, Llama biege is a more orangish brown than Natur carpet. Maybe the carpets are the same but that doesn't seem to be true to what I've seen in person.

Wierd. I've seen two other cars that look just like that first picture. Guess I was incorrect.

I've seen this color before in M535i's, I suppose it's the Piniengruen that's mentioned on RealOEM. That upholstery definitely doesn't look original though.

electrics were not that bad to tell you the truth. as long as you know what goes to the cluster, then the OBC, radio and friends...i was worried about it myself, and didn't even label anything because when i was taking it apart, i just took a mental note of where things went. it ended up being not all bad. i did refer to the Bentley a few times, but again, could have been a lot worse.

The leather is standard issue Kevin Chinn - the Artisan. His stuff is top notch. Can't say enough good things about it.

Those are e30 sport seats. Kevin sent me the little adapters and they 'bolt right in' - sorta. Takes a little bit of TLC. I covered the rear seat myself. It was a lot of work, but turned out nice. The e30 sports (manual) are awesome. WAAAAY lighter than the power comfort seats i had. probably 20 lbs or more per seat lighter. i don't really miss the power option, because i am the only one who drives the car and never really move them much anyway. They just hold you in place SO much better.

Very impressive!! I take it you did all the upholstery labor yourself? Also, the leather wrapped console, is that Chinn's work also?

The wires from the top of the dash are power and AV for an in car video , and power fro my road angel GPS speed camera advisor.
The wire taped through the door is for a temp sensor as I've been noting under bonnet temp to determine if I need to do anything about air intake temp.
