Post by DaRedRocket »

Need two fog light lenses for 535is. Anybody body have a decent set or know where I can get them for a better price than Bav?

Apparently, chrism can get them for a decent price - more expensive than what BavAuto lists, but they list the wrong part.

I'd also check with Steve.

Chris, the BavAuto lenses are the correct part number for US airdam 535is/M5 vehicles. I ordered a set from Brian DPP 2-years ago and they were $28 each (same part numbers). So the BavAuto price does not seem to be high, given the rate at which OE parts have skyrocketed in cost.

I believe ChrisM was suggesting to use the Euro foglight lenses. According to Maximillian's website, the Euro lenses are $50 each and might not be an exact fit. I've got an entire set of Euro bumper conversion parts sitting in boxes, so I'll see about digging out the foglight lenses and comparing to the US ones.

Here are the US lenses I got from Brian (inside my old housings):

Someone had come into a thread and mentioned they ordered that part number and received something different. I've yet to replace my lenses, which should be replaced, so I have no direct experience. I would imagine prices have gone up, though.

They are30 each. I just figured I might be able to find them somwhere else cheaper.

Thanks though, I'll give Haygood a call to see what his prices are.
