You guys that have the euro headlight set ups.......
Do any of you you need the plastic bushing device that attaches the adjustment screw to the back rim of the headlight. Both sizes of lights.
Most of mine are cracked or broken and I was going to order some.
I looked at the M535 on the RealOEM parts list but I'm having a hard time telling which part it is.
I think it is the bushing63121364940
Do you guys agree?
Anyone else need some? I was going to get Steve H to order some but he needs a part number

Are you talking about the plastic "cups" where the ball end of the adjustment screw pops into?
If so yes you do need it if you want the lens to stay stationary and allow for adjusting. But you can still install the lights without them if you want i guess
There is a revised P/N: 63 12 1 369 833. The one you have that's listed has been superceded. They are (were) $1.61 ea at the dealer, S/O.
You do need these bushings (called rubber bushings in the system but they are actually white plastic) to attach the lens to the frame, otherwise the lens flops around. You could zip tie it in place temporarily, perhaps.
When I put the set in the 533, I used all new ones and cleaned up the brackets as well. I have no pictures, though. For what they cost and what new lenses cost, you can't beat it.
Thanks,
BRRV for the revised part number.
I will order some.
Does anyone else need these?
I have two cars with the euro lights and the plastic bushings get brittle and brake.
It's kinda funny driving down the road and one headlight swings up and down as you accelerate, then slow down.
I ordered 24 today. Chris K. wants 12 and I was going to keep 12 although I probably don't need all twelve.
I own two E-28's both with euro lights and I know at least 4-5 of the bushings are broken.
So hang in there and we'll see what we can do.
