still NEED an 059 engine computer!!! Urgent!!

Post by The Baron »

My '87 535is has been out of commission for almost TWO WEEKS now, guys. :bawl:

My 059 computer went out. Got a replacement from a member of this board which also turned out to be a dud. Anyone close to Richmond have an 059 unit they can sell?

A couple guys out west have these units, but time is of the essence. This is my daily driver, guys. I've been riding my motorcycle in cold, wet weather for two weeks, and I'd like to avoid a third. :help:

Thanks, guys.

Have you tested any of these units so that we can know for sure this time?

Got one on the way from Tammer in Philly, guys.

I'll re-post here if it's another dud.

Thanks!

You sent me a box of OBC lights, maybe 8 of them- not one was good. I was sure the OBC itself was broken until I tried switching in the bulb from my other car- lit up like Christmas.

i have like 20 of those (orange sticker) 154
i have the ones for the 325i too, 380 yellow sticker, 173 gray sticker, 525i burgundy sticker, etc...

only gray sticker for 325i is that price

HALF my ECU collection (can you see the super eta and 325i ecu next to eachother?):
