WTB: Decent Swartz Black Hood

Post by bigdaddy »

I'm in search for a good Swartz hood for my '85 535i. Given that shipping is a hassle on something this size, hoping to find one within 200+/- miles of Birmingham, AL.

Need the single stage black (i.e., Swartz), not the 2 stage metalic Diamond Swartz.

Looking for something rust free and relatively free of dents/dings....willing to accept a hood that can be straightened out with paintless dent repair.

Thanks in advance.

Got a perfect one out here on the West coast- I'll wrap it in blankets and delivery the '88 Alpine White Super ETA out to you.

black hood

anyone know of any salvage yards within 3 hrs of Bham, AL that might have a black hood? I've tried the two most well known ones (Vines in AL and Strickly German in GA) with no luck.

You guys know of any others in MS, TN, or GA?

Jeff, if you find a good salvage yard let me know. Especially U-Pulls. Maybe we can go and sack the place together 8)
