WTB Steve Haygood parts

Post by MShimon »

I have been trying to contact Steve about some parts that I am looking for, but he hasn't responded to any of my pm's or emails after a month. I see that he peruses the for sale/wanted ads a lot so I'm going to try here. Danke.

E-mailing and PM'ing him aren't the best way to get in touch. Give him a call and he'll be there.

Ok, I'll try other methods. I'm just very busy and calling is not my best option. Thanks though...sorry for the stupid post it can be deleted.

ive had some trouble getting things from him. but his intentions are good most transactions are fine but sometimes disorder sets in. great guy, great prices. just needs a bit better organization or more help.

Maximilian is where most of my buisness goes if i need something now without mixup.

ChefShawn, I have tried those methods thanks though. I don't think anymore discussion should happen on this topic. Thanks for inputs.

I also emailed and PM'd him but the best way for me to get a hold of him was by calling and leaving a message. I just talked to him yesterday and I will be ordering my parts by email as he has recommended due to the list of part numbers. If you are pressed for time, I'd try calling a few times per day. If time is not a big deal to you, just call and do leave a message.

yes I am here and yes, I do get pulled 1000 ways from last Tuesday, bottle is avaiable, 50-60. Correct, I am not perfect and yes I try to do too much for too little so it's a bit tough to afford any help. To make up for the inconvience, your first order is at cost up to the first 100.00

Steve, your website doesn't appear to be working, or is it just me?

Cheers

MShimon, you'll probably have to reach him @ the shop by day during the week. By weekend he's usually available at home or his wife is 'always' kind enough to relay messages. :D

Given that I live in Australia, calling is not an option for me, and Steve always tries to get back to me ASAP by email. +1 for Steve :)

6 days a week 12 hours a day, should be enough but not usually

on the website, we are changing internet providers and hope to have the new static IP set up by Tuesday...It has been a very trying 6 months. The dealer source we were using had outstanding picing ,but was very slow at times The only guy that could handle our orders was the parts manager, but the owners had him doing everything from running the snow plow to packing orders. That was reflected in delivery time on all orders that were dealer only the past 2 years or so. The accountants got greedy and and increased their profit margin by 200% on their sales to me. They were then just an average an ordinary place to buy from. So I had to change BMW centers, first going with a center in Miami that had ok pricing but delivery time still was not good. Then I found one in Atlanta which has decent pricing and better delivery time. This happened a month or so agoand except the odd only in Germany part, delivery is good
These problems did not affect the regular repair parts that are commonly available from wholesalers of course, but did effect the dealer only parts.

My only question is, what supplier can you call on Saturday afternoon while you are working on the car for technical help and who esle can you say has also supported the e28 crowd with items at 5er Fest etc ?
