I'm looking forward to an extensive FAQ section...

General conversations about BMW E28s and the people who own them.

I know a lot of people were working on different tech/newbie topics. It should be nice to see them in one place, and I'm sure it will reduce some repetitive forum traffic and we won't have to say "search the archives" as much. I can get used to this.

I am looking for a few people to write up some good things to be posted in the FAQ section (Attn. ShawnD) - They will be given access to post there. Right now the section is closed to posting to keep things simple.

I'll clean up the E28 Wheel & Tire Tutorial (http://www.cowtownzclub.org/tech/e28whe ... 03-02.html) and get it to you before 2006!

I did a nice write up a few years ago on thrust arm and lower control arm replacement, but I can't find the link. I know someone has it, they posted it not long ago. Maybe we can get that and put it in also. Had some nice pics in it.

I should have mentioned: I saved the old forum pages and pics of many people's "tech articles" if those compiling the FAQ would like them. I have pages I wrote on the pedal box crack and US bumper lipo, as well as backups of Robert in Louisiana's writeups on a homemade CAIS and PG bushing install (with pics), Al's clutch bleed procedure, and the string on the foglight rewire procedure. And I'm sure other people have geeked out and saved other posted tech articles :p that will find their way into a tech faq.... Along with topics such as 'how can I get more power out of my 528e?' and 'where can I get euro bumpers? ' and of course 'why does the check light flash whenever I turn on my car?'
