ZA blocking e28-535i uploader pics

Post by mooseheadm5 »

I kept getting broken picture links, but I usually assume photobucket. I right clicked one of the pics and it said it was an e28-535i.com hosted pic. When I clicked on view picture, a Zone Alarm warning popped up stating that e28-535i.com was known to distribute viruses or spyware, or some such thing (I can't get it to show the window again since I accepted the risk.) Anyone else have this issue? It didn't happen until I did an update to ZA on Friday.

I am still having this problem, and now I cannot look at any pics from the uploader at all. Anyone have any advice?

Can you not add an exception for the uploader site?

Sounds like someone managed to slip some naughty stuff onto those sites. That's likely what set off the Zone Alarm restriction. One bad file can lead to an entire domain being blocked.

I have tried disabling ZA as well as AVG and I still get this when I try to view an uploader pic:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I can't find anything in Firefox that will allow me to add any exceptions for this.

Turning off ZA anti-phishing protection seems to have solved the issue for this session. I'll report back if there are other issues in case anyone else is having this problem.

Make sure you message KillerPM about it as well, make sure he's aware of the situation.
