Thanks guys, I got the other trailing arm
bushings out and the subframe bushings came out pretty easy. Ive been busy tracking down vacuum leaks on a customers e39 but I'll be back working on the shark soon. Hopefully my rear wheel bearings get here this week, then I can put the whole rear suspension back in.

Sorry guys, been out in Philly for a couple weeks to save my E34 535i/5 from certain death of NE winters outside...I'm currently getting ready to drive it back to AZ where she can live out her golden years in a nice dry climate
I'll probably spend more then she's worth to get her out there, but I don't care I absolutely love this car. Just gotta catch a Phillies game then I'm headed out, more shark updates soon!

So I ended up staying back east for longer then expected. Finally back in beautiful az and making some good progress on the car. I've got all my suspension ready to go back in, going to finish getting every thing out of the engine bay tomorrow and get it totally clean. Hopefully it will have an engine before the new year
What did you use to paint the suspension bits, POR-15 or other stuff? I got myself a can of POR-15 to get the car up on jackstands sometime after I get it back from the painter. I also bought new parking brake cables (already has new SS brake lines) and I need to install the rear subframe bushings (going to go theh powerflex route). Did you put factory rubber bushings in the rear arms or polyurethane?
Been busy lately working on other peoples cars , but have gotten a good amount done on the shark. I got all the suspension/steering back in. I also re-undercoated the entire under body. I've decided to lose the Hydroboost, ABS, and AC. This should shed a good amount of weight, already being a stripped down euro with cloth recaros I hope to get it as light as possible while still being a full road car. If anyone has a 518i box I want
I'm probably going to use a 944 booster and turbo s master cylinder for the brakes. But I've also been looking at the dual chamber e32 booster I have sitting around..so who knows.
I got the headlights and wipers out of the car, everything works thank god and after a little polish and paint they will look awesome. I'm just waiting on the little round clips that hold the adjusters in.
I've got to start prepping the engine bay for paint, eventually
I want to get the car a full dip and fix the minor rust and shave the DOT lights, plus get those vinyl Alpina stripes
Some pictures, the underbody pictures don't really do it justice. It looks bitchin in person.
Made this motorsport shift boot from some extra material I had, figured i'd jazz up the blue on blue interior a little. Thats also my custom $3 alpina shift knob. Just gotta glue it to the frame
I pulled it out yesterday and gave her a long overdo bath, shiny!
Got a second lift installed last week If anyone needs service work in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area drop me a PM
Oh and for you east coast guys, it was 72 a few days ago.

Yes, that is an E30 ellipsoid.
