Audi turbo question...

I installed a Stromung exhaust on my 1993 Audi S4 with an EFI express down pipe. Somehow after the install, the car goes into full boost almost right off of idle. I cannot press the pedal down more than 1/4 way before it takes off like a raped ape and then then loses power to a shut down of either fuel or spark. (something is telling it that there is too much boost, rightfully so). I am sure someone knows the answers to this. I ordered a new/used wastegate. I dont know what else it could be.

Sounds like either a sticky throttle our your wastegate isn't functioning to me. The wg could either have a bad diaphram or the vacuum line is leaking.

sounds like you may have switched the vacumm lines around on the electronic factory boost controller, once it over boosts the computer retards ignition and viola. the controller is infront of the turbo with one electrical connector and 3 vacuum lines attached..... ask me how i know that one.

Thanks! I know it has to be something silly. I had the camshaft sensor replaced as well, so there have been many hands under the hood.
