Inexpensive FI is an oxymoron.

If $100 is making a difference on a turbo build, you are in WAYYY over your head.

Anyone can throw together a shitty cheap FI setup. It won't work, though.

I just dont want to dump 600 on a manifold. I hate how pricey it is to do anything with an m30... aftermarket is almost non-existent ass swell. I sometimes wish mine had an lm7 or an ls1 just for the aftermarket.

Spend money on the manifold and turbo. The rest doesn't have to be expensive.

If this was not accepted, it was a lost opportunity in your project.
M30 is a low volume market for turbo manifolds which makes the cost much higher.

If you want a cheap manifold, transplant a 4G63 into your BMW.

That reminds me of the 1/8 mile Chevy Monza I saw with a 4g63 converted to RWD. that thing was striaght BAD ASS!
I couldn't figure out what engine it was due to the way it was installed.

I got a TCD manifold for $40. It's an M20 topmount, though, so You'd probably have no interest.
