Manny D.

Post by e9nine »

Manny D. is the man!
He came through at the 11th hour and 45th minute -due to uncontrollable circumstances- to provide a perfect communication and a product - resealed low mileage LSD - that worked well for my track day weekend.

Very good seller, I will do business with him anytime!

I also would highly reccomend Ray in Phoenix, I've bought a couple of things off him now and the condition is always top notch. Also, great communication and just an all around good guy.

Transaction with Mless5 was awesome. Swift action. Well priced. Shipped very quick! I'm putting those motor mounts in this week!

Partial trade/cash with David (DJM1986-5) and went well. Nice shift boot for the wife's car, gave him an ABS sensor. All is well! Thanks for the pleasant transaction!

davintosh-

Herculean effort in crating the S3.64 differential. I'm tempted to use the box as a jack stand.

Great transactions with:
Manny D - provided a nice looking LSD hassle free, fast arrangement of pickup

and Bimmerguy2002 - had a b35 starter available almost immediately, and was able to meet up in my locale.

Would do business with both again, and look forward to catching the next wrenchfest for some brews and BBQs.

Thanks!

Also, I had a great experience with ChefShawn. A small delay in shipping, but understandable and received the item as advertised.

[quote="fjfar80"]I purchased a black interior (several thousand dollars) from Paul LaDue and it has basically fallen apart. The leather covered dash self-destructed in a matter of days and I am going to have to spend significant dollars on removing it and having a new dash installed. I have attempted to contact Paul and thus far, he has ignored me. His actions are very suspect and unprofessional...I would definitely recommend avoiding doing any business with Paul LaDue.

So as you know, I needed a set of front springs with the swiftness. sQuirly had a set at a great price and even tackled that job when I picked them up.
I drove off with the springs installed.
Major stand up guy....
I will be drinking more beer with him soon.

Thanks

My Experience with Parts-n-Things

Post by mremingtonwilson »

I bought a 533i radio from Parts-n-Things. He was extremely reasonable, and even with the extra mile to test the radio. During the entire process, he maintained constant communication with pertinent updates just to let me know where things were. Along with the radio, he sent me the security code and the manuals for it (neither of which I'd ask for)! :alright:

Shipped the day I paid, and the item arrived well packaged and safe.

Now, only if he had the ITB assemblies and the plenum for an S38... Those have been a pain to find.

Photopark (Doug) cut out a rear section of sheet metal for my rusty e28 and shipped it within 2 days of me sending him the money.

It was prompt and a bargain.

Powerflex

Post by grey ghost »

I bought a set of uca bushings from powerflex and received lca bushings instead. I called and received the worst customer service ever. Since I didn't have the equipment to press the old bushings out I had to go to a mechanic. After pulling one arm, he saw they were incorrect and had to put it all back together on my dime.

All powerflex offered me was to overlook the restocking fee.
Fucking worthless. I guess I'll purchase the moosehead unit like I should have in the first place.

Sounds reasonable to me. Not their fault you pay for installation.
