I've yet to be able to attend an e28 event where I would guess you guys with the really nice (and not-so-nice) cars get together and fellowship. Maybe some day I will get the chance to see and meet the owners of some of these cars.

However, over the years I've heard bits and pieces of legendary, really nice cars here and there...see some here and there, etc.

For grins, thought I'd poll the forum for nominations of who owns, and what are, the nicest examples currently around.

If you care to play along, my suggested criteria are simple, and are as follows:
-owners can't nominate their own car, mentions must be from fellow board member
-not to include S38/m88 (i.e, M5) varients, would like to focus on "standard" 3.2/3.5 cars
-also, not to include the tuner cars (Alpina, Hartge, etc.) as these get a lot of attention already.

Everything else if fair game...euro cars, euro converted, turbo'ed, bone stock, low mileage, high mileage, etc.

what do you guys think?

Murfinator's car is the first one that comes to mind, although he is not finished with its current iteration. There are many others though...

I nominate OCcoupe for stock and MLastovo for modified. :)

Tim K's (formally Tim J's x2) car. Not only does it look outstanding but the motor is also tastefully modified. No need for an emoticon, the car speaks for itself.

I vote for Sia's S54 powered 525i, then I vote for the Greek M5.

The shadowline tail lights on Sia's 525 are a nice touch as well.

John in VA's driveway lump is a decent example, now. Nothing like his 2002 but a nice enough example if you like Delphin/Perl/Shadowline.
