EBC help
Now that I got my timing table under control with the help of a few knowledgeable members I turned the boost up from 160kpa to 189kpa (13psi). The boost indicator in my car didn't climb above 10psi and I got some surging from the WG. I'm using a grainger valve, which I know is at least getting signal, I can hear it modulating. Any ideas? I tried increasing the Proportional gain up to 75, but it didn't make a difference so I turned it back down to 50.
The controller is plumbed just like the two port wastegate diagram.

Awesome, i'll try this on the way to work and report back. I CANNOT wait to get this thing to some proper boost levels.clongo wrote:I'm running 15psi and these are my settings. I've read a bunch of guys are running way lower #'s on the PID settings to get the boost to rise. Here are my settings.
P - 12
I - 6
D - 0
I'm also running a 8psi spring.

This was it. I'm building boost now no problem. I had to increase the P up to 20 because it was overshooting in 2nd gear. Thanks!clongo wrote:I'm running 15psi and these are my settings.
