I ran my E28 on the Dyno for the first time today!!!

300 hp and 340 ft/lb tq, that's basically 335i eating territory.

TCD S2 @ 10 PSI

Things I learned...

1. My intercooler is NOT working. I held my hand on the radiator and it barely got warm, the MAT was very high. I got a little detonation towards the end of the first pull, I pulled some timing and it improved but i'm pretty sure the high temps are not helping. MAT is definitely limiting my timing map, which is limiting power.

2. I have a lean spot, that's probably not helping either.

3. The dyno is a sweeeeet way to tune. I tweaked my ignition map a bit and I was able to see the results instantly.

There's a lot of you out there that are partially responsible for getting this tun driveable and safe, you know who you are. Pat yourself on the back!

Ooooook, the intercooler fuse was blown. It wasn't on the whole time.

Crap

was going to suggest it may be air locked but i see problem solved, the difference between not working and working on mine was about 2 shot glasses worth of coolant, and mine is plumbed from the bottom up to help eliminate air problems, the pump is the lowest part but may of just needed to burp

Mine's the same way and it is finickey. I just installed a cobra pump, but I think the bigger pump popped the fuse shortly after testing.

Theres an advantage of air to air I hadn't imagined. Aint got no fuses.

Nice smooth curves. Definitely had more top end in there too.

It's fat as it approaches and through 3000rpm. It's really hurting spool up. It should be making at least 310rwtq at 3000rpm

Specs? All stock with TCDs2 kit and MegaSquirt (version?) standalone?

Nice numbers. I'm sure you'll make it better.
