What have you had the best luck with as a cooling medium? Any particular blend of special juices or just plain water?

No direct experience; that said, I'd run the same solution I ran in the engine cooling system. That way you only have one solution to carry and worry about if you are out and about.

i mixed a lean antifreeze solution and dumped in some water wetter

I'm guessing the Water Wetter is important for this application. There is not a large DeltaT and you would want the best transfer you can manage.

a surfactant can't hurt
