Nice car. He should check the fan-clutch, the blue and brown temp sensors on the front of the motor, and the thermostat. That should take care of his overheating problems. These cars don't "naturally overheat".

When my car seems to be overheating it just means I need to bang on the dash a few times so my squirrelly temp gauge can get its mind right...
