Radiator mounting "repair kit" - any interest?

Post by szacsi72 »

Hey guys,

So I'd need new mounting for my 535i radiator. I checked the parts numbers, the rubber groomets themselves are $14 a piece, and I'd need new washers, etc.
So I figured, I'll just make my own kit! And since I had to put in the work anyway, I figured maybe I'll make a couple more kits if some else would like to grab a set..

The kit would consist of high quality, softer yet more durable silicone groomets (made by a company in Hungary, EU) and all-stainless hardware - bolts, guide pins, washers, nuts..

I can't tell just like that but the kit would cost roughly 30-35$ so basically for the price of the groomets alone, you'd have less vibration in your radiator, and shiny bling bling in your engine bay.

Let me know if you'd be down for a set! I'd make these in roughly 2 weeks.

All righty then, I'll get to it.

I think I'll make around 10 sets in total.
