If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me for a picture, just to never hear back from them, I could give these parts away

My wife said that skirt sizes are, like, missus, ladies, womens, etc.
Sounds like you need a "full-figured gal" size!

Posting a pic takes minutes, and will only help you. Not taking pics, will only hurt you. Who wants to buy used wheels without seeing them?

I've been selling used bmw parts since the 1980's and I can still remember running printed ads and having potential buyers take time to pick up the phone and give me a call so I can tell them about the part I've advertised.

If someone is really interested in my parts, I can always provide pictures.

I miss the 1980's

And those are the people who waste your time by having to send the pics over and over to assorted "interested parties". Here, you just do it once and everyone knows what you have. Simple math.

im very interested in those wheels, in fact ive been considering a set of style 42's for some time just never found a good offer. but im sorry a for sale add in this day and age simply requires pics, accurate representation by pictures in the only thing that catches interested buyers.

I'm interested and for 800. very interested, but without pic's i feel like your hiding something. i shouldn't have to ask and then try to decide if I'm interested or not, i don't want to waste either of our time doing so.

selling things on the internet is different then the newspaper, the newspaper is a local/familiar thing. the internet is full of scams, ripoffs, identity theft and evil people, all of that can be avoided by reassuring your buyers that you are none of the above, show them what is going on.
