I have 3 of those but all have the switch for A/C. Am I missing something or can't you just pop out the swith and replace it with a blank filler piece?

I was thinking the same thing, then I looked at my US-car spare and the radio surround is attatched, whereas the euro piece is without the radio piece and mounts differently.

That is because the panel is from a Euro non-AC console, and the controls actually mount above the radio instead of below it....

Thats correct, the Euro console is one peice, the heater controls are on the top...
See if i can find a picture..
Its a uk model but you get the idea

Its pretty simple. I am not going OEM for the radio mount, may use a cabon fiber plate and machine out a radio hole cause it looks cool. Barring that i'll make my own thing for the radio and some gauges etc.
