FS Feeler - BBS RK's - 17x8.5" 15mm Offset

Post by Low Level »

Anyone interested?

Set of 4 - the famous BBS RK - rare in this size + offset, light, and strong.

They're immaculate.

I have another set of wheels that I will be running, so I might let these go.

Probably going to look for about $1300.

Located in Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

They are between 17 and 18 lbs - very light for 17's.

They are cast but known to be very strong. BBS RK's were run on many Speed World Challenge cars, and are often seen at track days. RK's in E36 + E46 offset were recently discontinued, but so many people clamored for the return of the RK because of the rare combination of light weight, strength, and affordability, that they were subsequently re-released in that fitment.

I'll trade you my 16" RKs!...haha I might even trade you both sets that I have. This is my opinion, but those 17s sure look a lot better than the 16" version. I didn't think that 1" in diameter would make such a big difference on the look of them, but they do. Great looking wheels.

They are counter-pressure cast, which I believe is one of the strongest casting processes.

I run these, and so far I was enjoying the uniqueness, as I only know one other e28 owner running this exact wheel and offset.

I did have to grind back my rear fender lips to make them fit.

That said, I love the look of the 8.5 et15, they stand out of the fenders a long way.

If anyone has any questions regarding my experience with these rims on an e28, feel free to PM.

PS: They are one of the lightest 17" rims out there, with tire installed, they weigh the same per corner as the stock e28 setup.

Sure. (Car looks like this now, just different front plate). Notably mine are the polished finish RKs, the ones you're selling are the silver painted finish.
