i third it.

check it out. i was skeptical at first, but i swear it turned out fantastic. just mask off the lenses, clean with prep-sol, scotch-brite the chrome with slightly coarse grit, then fine grit, clean with prep-sol, and hit it with the SEM trim black. Don't be shy with the number of coats either, just make sure they dry in between. And did i mention cleaning with prep-sol? Has to be spit-shiny clean for that paint to stay on for years and not be chipping off looking all ratty.

you'll be super happy you spent $30 rather than $400 or whatever those new lights cost.

from Matts Kinnby

I got em over a year ago however. Not sure he's still got em.

Installation is a real adventure. The amber lights come out with a hammer, needle-nose pliers, and LOTS of sensibly applied force. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be however.

We're discussing painting the chrome trim black, not tinting the lenses.
