my turn signal staulk(however you spell it) is f'd up and i keep flashing my bright at people on accident on my way to work...anybody got one in good working order?!

Can be fixed easily by bending the visible pin off the flash contact. Here's the pic:

This is exactly the problem I have with my e30. Looks like an easy enough fix. Do you have a link to a full write-up on the steps involved?

dcbimmerm3, please tell us what year model you have as the stalks are different early to late...late ones have an OBC function built into them...

oh right, sorry...it's an 85 535i 5spd with computer...i think i'm gonna just buy one at work tomorrow...i work at a BMW dealer and get parts nearly at cost...which is still $70 for these damn things but whatever...it's easier and it's brand new...i don't wanna f with it anymore...thanks for the help though guys!
