UPS destroyed (supposed train derailment in Kansas), lost, .....misplaced....???.... a pair of Weber 40mm DCOE carbs and a Korman intake, along with a few other parts. It really bummed me out to the point of selling everything.mogie wrote:Aww no more 2002. Was curious to see what it was going to look like down the road, always looked nice and clean.
By the way, what parts did UPS destroy?
I'll likely replace the 2002 with a clean E30 or maybe even a nice E28, I see them in CA for very reasonable prices often and it'll give me another chance to travel to the bay area or LA...etc.
I really would like to put the 5er into semi-retirement (no rainy days), it'll give me a chance to get my wheels refurbed....or polished.

No pics needed, I've moved on! Thanks anyway!
To comment on your PM, I will be looking first for a nice 1990 or 91 E30 325is or maybe even a 318is, some meaningful mods would be nice, but I can live with a stock E30. The E28 option may be exercised if I see a nice 535is with a 5 speed.......preferably white cars with anything but a black interior.
I've seen some real nice E30s in CA over the past few months, and I've talked about getting an E30 long before I ever wanted a 2002. With that damn train wreck my whole attitude has changed so NOW seems like a good time to move-on!
Take care,
