Yep, I am working on getting my resale/ wholesale/ license.
Just signed the lease on the new "showroom" today.
So...I need to come up with a snappy name. Have a few ideas so far, and need some feedback:
(will be lotsa Bimmers but probably a few Volvos and such also (I like em))

So far:

(notice the color fixation)

1. Red Leaf Autohaus
2. Red Tree motors
3. Rockin' Fig Cars
4. Red Tide Motors
5. Red Rooster motors (my chinese animal year, so it fits I guess)
6. Colin's Cars
7. Bimmers 'r' Us (haha)
8. Manic motors
9. Chisel-head motors
10. Buy-low sell-High

Any more great ideas...?
How about any of these?

Muchas Gracias, Colin

what is the point / theme / differentiator of your business ?

The name ought to reflect what sets you apart from other dealers, i'd think.

Something like "Strictly German" would suggest that you are the guy to see if osmeone knows they want a german car , for example. That one i think is a pretty common garage name for independants..

Yeah, I really thought about incorporating something that would say German cars, or even more specifically BMWs and I still might (maybe just throw in "Autohaus" or something).
Then again, if I do carry a few other cars that I like, say some Volvos or Toyota Prius' (extremely popular around here and I like them also) Im not so sure if the name would sound like a fish out of water.
Getting "Bavarian" somewhere in there has a nice ring to it also I suppose...hmmm.........

I had a similar dilemma when choosing a name for my business (as a side thing - I have been buying and selling a few BMW's since the weather here stinks for detailing in the winter (Milwaukee, WI) !!!- and the business name works fine for that as well)..

if I may offer up some advice .. keep it as simple as possible .. make it easy for the public to remember ... Cleanest Cars is my business name - simple, to the point and uber easy to remember ... take the same approach
