I know it will replace the old forum in the end but it is just something else to learn to use. There is nothing simple anymore! I like a phone that dials a number and receives calls only, a watch that tells me what time it is w/ easy to see hands/numbers and anything that one does not have to be programmed to perform a simple function. Most of you guys are to young to have owned a vehicle with a carb and in particularly one with a manual choke or have had to retard the timing manually when starting a cold v-twin. Or, how about "tickling" the Amals on a british bike?
The e28 is beyond my basic electrical skills and I admire you guys who are electrical/computer whizzes (?) It's great to know that an answer to a question is only the keyboard away. That reminds me...I learned type on a manual 'Underwood' and still have trouble w/electric keyboards because I hit the keys so hard!
I do want to thank William for the time he has put into creating the old/new forums. I know that progress is inevible and within my capabilities I'll try to join the 21st century!!
