Made some extras this time. $189.00 while they last. Adjust cam timing without removing front cover. Up to 6 degrees advance or 6 degrees retard (12 crank) in 2 degree increments.

Paul has little time for forums chat, he is too busy programing all those CNC machines!

I didn't go anywhere just had a computer meltdown due to a virus. Sometimes this internet thing sucks a load :comp:

Had to replace a couple of towers (with new software that I am still trying to figure out). I sometimes have to think twice about how evil yet necessary these things have become.

About 18mpg mixed to heavy footed driving. It's still pig rich on the onset of boost and I'm sure mpg would improve with a good tune.

Another benefit of MS is that you should be able to improve that number a fair amount.

MS tuned to 12psi is the plan. What kind of MPG do you see with your car? Before this happens, I have some work to do...

1) HDi boost controller
2) Swap s3.64 for s3.15
3) Install new trans in the e24.
4) Sell the e24
5) Survive the arrival of baby #2 in late April. :)
6) Probably lots of other things I have yet to think of.

I had hoped to move to MS in the spring, but I'm thinking fall is more realistic...

Congrats  FWIW, we found #2 an easier adjustment than #1 (but be forewarned - all the tricks you learned with #1 are about to become obsolete - #2 is guaranteed to be a vastly different model). #3 on the other hand... :bawl:

me want cam gear but not in the budget nor will it fix my problems and tuning a cam gear with out a solid answer for my initial tuning issues..... well it would complicate things further. How ever i think im already about 6 degrees advanced on my timing already so im one step ahead of all of you.... bahhh my life. With that said i still get 24mpg on the highway.

Hmmm, adjustable cam gear or skid plate? About the same price. With the coilovers bringing the oil pan closer to trouble the cam gear have to go on the 'next week' list, but definitely on the list. Hope there's still some available!

Does anybody have a more direct way of contacting Paul? It doesn't look like he checks here too frequently and I'm wanting to get an adj cam gear while my timing cover is off.

Still making/selling these paul?
What's the ring on the bottom?
The vac one doesn't have it and is more expensive.

I'm interested as well. Trying to decide if it is realistic to swing the cam around during a dyno session.
