Overdue for sale forum "rules"

Most other sites have guidelines at least. Can we get a little official for sale etiquette? I tire of seeing the same person bump the same dozen for sale posts every single or every other day. There are other issues, too, which others will hopefully post.

I agree completely.
also, there should be a minimum post count for posting in the classifieds. They can see and reply to a FS thread, but they can not post a new topic.

I disagree with a minimum post count. There is no reason that someone shouldn't be able to come on here and sell e28 related item just because they haven't shot the shit as much as the rest of us. I've run into this problem several times and it really annoys me.

I hate the post count requirements. Lots of quiet people post good things.

The thing that is bugging me most lately are the posts for certain items with a link to a photo album, and "contact me for more details." Thankfully he figured out how to bump his previous threads instead of creating new ones. I have no problem with the seller (in fact I placed an order with him), but feel a price should be required.

Also, the highest offer over $xxx or whatever posts need to go. It's not eBay and at least on eBay, you know you're not getting screwed (a relative term since eBay results in screwing generally).

That would be useful. That, along with a reps system. It's hard to search throught the feedback thread and a lot of people (me included) don't post in it anyway.

iTrader seems to work well, I have no clue if it can be added to phpBB though.
