FS: 16x8" ET23 basketweaves

Post by Digitalwave »

For sale is a set of four (4) 16x8" ET23 5x120 basketweave rims from an E38 740i. The rims have a centerbore of 72.5 and will therefore fit all 5 lug BMW's except E39's. E36's will need to run 205 width tires to clear the fenders, but will fit without fender modifications.

The rims are all in good shape overall. There are no bends, cracks, or major curb rash on any of the rims. They have minor curb rash but nothing more than 1/4" to 1/2". I have included detailed photos of the curbed areas in my photos. The paint on the rims is in pretty good shape. They would make perfect track rims as is. If you felt inclined to give them a coat of fresh silver wheel paint (or your color of preference) they would be excellent street rims as well. There are some scratches, knicks, and brake dust strains (mainly inbetween the spokes).

I am a new member to mye28.com but a long time BMW community member on other forums. I have many references and feedback threads, as well as 80+ positive eBay feedback.

Included in the sale is all 4 center caps, and fairly new roundels in each center cap.

Asking price is $300 shipped to the 48 states. ALSO OPEN TO TRADES!

Click on the photos below to see high resolution photos of each rim.

The BBS RA's I had ended up being 5x130, so I'm not looking anymore. I bought a set of mesh Rials instead.

I bought a set of these less than two weeks ago. This is a good deal! They look awesome on an E28. The E36 M3 contour wheels I had before didn't look nearly as period-correct as the E38 wheels do...I love them.
