Need winshield wiper linkage assembly

The big pot metal bar of my linkage broke while my wipers were frozen. It looks like replacing just that part would be prohibitive so i need the whole linkage minus the motor. I think they are all the same but it came out of an '87 535is. Thanks.

how hard is it to take off? i have the entire thing off the parts car

first of all i meant windshield with a "D" sorry. Anyway, if it is a parts car and the blower motor is already out it is easy. You just need to take off the wipers and the nuts underneath so the part can drop through and out the way the blower motor came. If you get the setup out and can send me a snapshot that would be great.

Nice catch -- I was going to ask why you needed to shield against "win." BTW, you can edit your post, including the title.
