I still have all the video's and pictures from this conversion, i just took them off my Youtube page cause I was getting trolled. I also put a 1uz in my next E28 and I just brought another one that is running stock, but thinking about lining up another conversion, maybe a 2jz or RB30DET motor (as i live in a right hand drive country the turbo and exhaust are on a better side for me with the RB motor). I am not ruling out the possibilty of an LS motor either if i could get one for the right price.

If anyone wants info on 1JZ, 1UZ, 2JZ conversion, just PM me, i am happy to send you what i have or give advice.

Yes i have spare mounts for the 1UZ, not for the JZ as i welded the car on that one an ran the factory toyota mounts off the engine.

Here in New Zealand the e28's are cheap, my latest one is MINT with a FSH, no rust etc and was only $2000. I am going to 3M wrap it, not sure what color yet, I actually logged on here looking for some inspiration, maybe flat white or gloss black... Upgrade the brakes to 750 fronts and 540 rears... boost up the stereo a bit and then drive it until something happens to the motor or trans and look to swap out the motor then... or turbo it.

Has anyone run a 4HP22 auto box independent of the motor computer? I only as cause i was thinking of turbo charging the M30 this time, but aftermarket computer on the engine renders the auto useless... unless I can get it running standalone?

Cheers and good luck with your conversions!

ps I still have the 1UZ E28, there is a youtube video of it here:

So if you have questions I can take photos of it, I used a T5 box with adapter plate... goes good, sounds awesome.
